About In The Chaos Apparel

At In The Chaos Apparel, we believe life isn't always picture-perfect. It's weird, unpredictable, overwhelming, hilarious... and sometimes all before breakfast.

This brand wasn't built because my life was falling apart. It was built because I realized none of us have it as together as we pretend we do. For me, that realization hit during motherhood.

For years, I masked my undiagnosed-at-the-time ADHD well enough to get by. I found ways to compensate, push through, and convince myself I just needed to try harder. Then motherhood stripped away every coping mechanism I had. The overwhelm, the mental load, and the constant feeling of falling behind became impossible to ignore.

I spent years believing I was lazy, disorganized, overly sensitive, or simply not trying hard enough. Other people misunderstood me because I misunderstood myself.

Somewhere in the middle of the laundry piles, endless to-do lists, and trying to raise happy kids, I discovered something bigger:

The chaos wasn't just mine. It wasn't even just motherhood. It's everywhere.

It's the brain that won't stop thinking. It's the family group chat. It's the state of the world. It's adulthood. It's trying to keep up with life while pretending you've got it all figured out. The older I get, the more convinced I am that sometimes the healthiest response is to laugh before you lose your mind.

That's what In The Chaos Apparel is about.

Family Chaos is where it all began—celebrating the beautiful mess of raising humans and surviving family life with your sense of humor mostly intact.

American Chaos is for anyone looking at today's headlines and thinking, "Well... this is something." We don't pick sides. We poke fun at the absurdity because sometimes laughter is the only thing everyone can agree on.

Mental Chaos is for the overthinkers, ADHD brains, anxious minds, introverts, extroverts, socially awkward legends, and anyone who's ever felt misunderstood. It's about embracing the wonderfully imperfect way our minds work, laughing at the chaos, and realizing you're not the only one.

Whether you're surviving parenthood, navigating a beautifully chaotic brain, rolling your eyes at the latest headlines, or just trying to make it through another Monday, you're in the right place.

Welcome to the chaos. We saved you a seat.
